The Lambrou family created Kumilio in 2015. Their goal is to promote the Kimi fig, a fruit that ranks high in the history of the Greek diet and which combines an exceptional sweet taste with high nutritional value.

In addition to the whole sundried Kimi figs, the company offers a range of products which all have the Kimi fig as their main ingredient: fig marmalade, fig bars and fig syrup.

They grow approximately 500 fig trees in the village of Kadi of Kimi, where they also run a small sorting and processing unit.

The current product categories available in Australia are as follows:

Kimi Figs: The Kimi figs have a distinctive fine skin which makes them softer. They are a PDO product which owe their uniqueness to the micro-climate and soil of the region.

Handmade Fig Bars: The Kimi fig bars, which are sugar free, are a pocket sized meal that provide a strong energy boost. The sundried Kimi fig along with flower honey and dry nuts comprise the key ingredients.

Fig Marmalade: All natural. No preservatives.
Ingredients: figs, sugar, lemon juice.

Kimi Fig Spoon Sweet: Spoon sweets (glyka tou koutaliou) are sweet fruit preserves. All natural. No preservatives. Ingredients: figs, almond, sugar, lemon juice, clove.
