Papadeas, the producer of the Messino brand, is a family company based in Kalamata which was founded in 1975.

Before 1974, Panagiotis Papadeas started supplying factories with wine for the production of alcohol spirit and vinegar in Athens. Inspired from these factories, he commenced his own business of vinegar production. He started collecting wines from local producers in the Peloponnese.


Current product categories under the “Messino” brand are as follows:

Wine Vinegar – This product is made from quality local wines according to traditional methods.

Balsamic Vinegar – Full of distinctive flavour, this product is made from wine vinegar and concentrated must.

Balsamic Cream – Used to garnish salads, roasts, seafood and vegetables. Available in a range of flavours.
