KUMILIO

Kumilio is known for its delicious handpicked sundried Kimi Figs.The Lambrou family created Kumiio in 2015. Their goal is to promote the Kimi fig, a fruit that ranks high in the history of the Greek diet and which combines an exceptional sweet taste with high nutritional value.

Costas Lambrou is the family’s connection with Kimi as he was born and bred there. Kimi is a small coastal town in Evia, the second largest island of Greece. This strong bond along with the family’s love for the figs, the most precious local product, has inspired it to create Kumilio so as to convey its perception of nature, the land and its community’s tradition

The Kimi Figs have a distinctive fine skin which makes them softer. They are a PDO product which owe their uniqueness to the micro-climate and soil of the region. Kumilio also offers a range of handmade products which mainly have the Kimi fig as their main ingredient. These include fig marmalades, fig spoon sweets, fig rolls and fig bars.
